It's getting close!

Well...we've had a few runs in the RV and one major "shakedown cruise". So far, I have managed to put the right rear dual wheels off into mid air bringing the unit down our precipitous driveway and.........buried the RV up to the frame trying to turn it around in a soft, sandy parking lot. Other than that.....all went well. All systems seem to work well and, I have read and reread most of the manuals until I almost have them memorized. I can now sanitize the water system with my eyes closed and can dump all the sewage tanks without even a drop running astray.................so far!! Over the next few weeks we will load up for our departure in mid August.

Hi there, Uncle & Aunt Fraser. I'm one of Simon's readers. I've got a couple of questions that non-family members might enjoy knowing the answers to. What prompted you to go the Class 1 RV
route rather than a tag-along or 5th wheel trailer? Are you hauling an auto behind your unit? Whatcha taking along for toys? Canoe? Kayaks? Bicycles? Surf boards? Nosey readers like to know these things. Got CB or are you waiting until you get to the lower 48 for that? Got a weather station? Satellite TV?

Anyway, good luck with the outfitting. If you ever get into my neck of the woods, give me a shout and we'll see about buying you a cup of coffee, tea or Blue or two.
